Business Development Executive

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an aspiring business development executive at the start of their career or with a year or two of experience. Someone who is keen to learn and willing to contribute to a variety of tasks.

 

Support all aspects of our sales pipeline and data vendor pipeline
Fable Data has ambitions to sell its products to the global investor community, corporate and government clients whilst continually onboarding great sources of data.
 

  • Effectively manage our CRM on behalf of the wider business development and product team, ensuring all client and supplier entries and next steps are up to date

  • Grow our prospect data base through methodical research in order to identify key contacts within the market • 

  • Work closely with the sales and product team so you can work efficiently with them to close all deals

  • Support creation of early pipeline sales collateral and messaging, using a mixture of excel, word, powerpoint and online tools

  • Join calls and meetings, manage diaries and manage senior stakeholder travel to ensure end to end success 

  • Travel co-ordination where required

 

 

Support our ever-growing marketing channels
After operating in a relatively covert fashion this year, as we near launch we are ready to shout about our data products which are a first of their kind in Europe. We need to optimise our marketing channels and maximise our awareness. 

  • Research marketing opportunities such as conferences, media articles and paid adverts

  • Manage website updates and blog posts and drive the business to generate great content

  • Organise event attendance and manage senior stakeholders’ attendance

  • Keep up to data on our competitor activity and how they are positioning themselves to the market

  • Market research

We are looking for the right attitude and forensic attention to detail.  The rest can be learnt.  This is a unique opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to understand the world of FinTech, big data and selling to investors and corporates.

 


Language skills


Knowledge of the retail environment in France, Germany, Spain and Italy and major European language would be beneficial but not essential.
