Role and Responsibilities

As one of the earliest team members of the Corporate sector team, the role will be instrumental in growing the Corporate business unit, directly supporting the Director of Corporate Products & Strategy in delivering some of the key strategic goals for the business. This is a great chance to realise your potential, help shape a new team and build a world-class client portfolio.  

 

The role would suit an individual with 1-4 years’ experience in a top-tier consultancy, agency or professional services firm; someone with a good business grounding and solid core skills, including strong commercial acumen and good stakeholder management - but who doesn’t see their future in a big firm. 

 

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, ambitious environment, with the ability to learn from experts in technology, commercial strategy and the investment market. Our office is based in North Central London, but the role can be performed remotely until we are able to return to our office. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director to deliver against the Corporate sector strategy

  • Support all aspects of our Corporate sector strategy, sales pipeline and marketing activities, e.g.:

  • Grow our prospect data base through methodical research in order to identify key contacts within the market •

  • Research target sectors and companies, present findings and opportunities

  • Work closely with the sales and product team so you can work efficiently with them to close all deals

  • Support creation of sales and marketing collateral and presentations, using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and online tools

  • Manage internal projects, identify and implement improvements in team processes

  • Join calls and meetings, and manage client and stakeholder diaries

Profile:

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Commercially focussed

  • Able to work discretely with confidential information and commercially sensitive projects

  • Experienced in a commercial environment (experience working across multiple sectors an advantage)

  • Ready to start conversations internally and externally

  • Keen to work for an agile, dynamic and entrepreneurial business

  • Preferably educated to degree level (or equivalent)

Skills / knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Numerical, financial, research and analytical skills

  • Good knowledge of business landscape, in UK and globally

  • I.T. skills utilising Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Adept to learning and being able to effectively use information systems (HubSpot and others)

  • Ability to build credible relationships with colleagues and clients

  • Ability to manage shifting priorities within tight timeframes

  • Fluent in English. Additional language (French, German, Spanish, Japanese) an advantage, but not essential.
