UK and Germany Spend Insight Report 01 – 08 Aug 2022

In this week’s report, spend in the UK was up 2% versus 2021 (YoY) and up 9% versus 2019 (Yo3Y*). Spend in Germany was up 7% YoY and up 12% Yo3Y. In the UK, while rising fuel costs have remained a key trend through 2022, in recent weeks prices have shown signs of moderating. In Germany, Public Transport spend has shown some improvement in recent weeks after tracking in line with last year for most of the summer.
